Dealertrack DMS to fold in Hireology services

Hireology, an employee recruitment management provider that works with about 4,000 dealerships, has had a third-party integration with CDK Global DMS for two years. But the new partnership will exclusively promote Hireology’s payroll option to Dealertrack customers, Hireology CEO Adam Robinson told Automotive News.

In announcing the partnership last week, the two companies said the new integration will be live and demonstrated next month during the National Automobile Dealers Association Show in Las Vegas.

“Together, Hireology and Dealertrack DMS combine all a dealer’s HR needs — including hiring, time and attendance, payroll processing and reporting, benefits administration, and talent management — into one platform,” Mandi Fang, general manager of Dealertrack’s DMS business, said in a statement. “The integrated solution is easy to implement and significantly reduces the ongoing administrative effort of managing multiple third-party providers.”

The two vendors have been working on the effort for the past year, Robinson said.
“This is all about creating a simplified and more accurate process for entering and tracking employee data,” he said. “It’s really a furthering of our commitment to make the day-to-day hiring, payroll and HR process for auto dealers more streamlined.”

Dealertrack said pricing for the addition will vary. But dealerships generally can expect to pay $11 to $15 per employee a month. Dealertrack customers also can continue to use third-party payroll providers.

“We believe that our new integrated offering will be so compelling that we expect many of our dealers to move to it once they’ve seen it,” Fang said.
