Sky TV v NOW TV – As big deals revealed which service is REALLY best for you?

So, with these discounts available right now, is NOW TV the best option to get some top quality TV at a reduced price?

The simple answer is yes…and no.

NOW TV is great because it offers instant access to hours of content without having to sign up to lengthy and expensive contracts.

Although the deals above are for six months you can actually buy a Sports Pass for a day (£8.99) or a Cinema Pass for a month (£11.99).

If you don’t want to continue watching, you simply cancel without fear of any additional charges.

This will clearly suit people who don’t want Sky’s TV all year round and it’s certainly a good option if you want to cut down your monthly costs.

Because NOW TV is streamed via the web you also don’t need a dish stuck to your wall.

To tune in you can use a smart TV, compatible streaming stick or your PS4 and Xbox One.

Most smartphones and tablets can also gain access via an app and NOW TV even has its own dedicated devices which include the Smart Box and Smart Stick.

If your internet connection is sluggish then Sky Q is also a better option as all content is beamed to the box via a dish and, unlike NOW TV, is not streamed across the web.

VERDICT

If you are looking for a cheap and convenient way to watch Sky then NOW TV is a very good option.

With no contract to sign you can come and go as you please and the current deals make it seriously good value for money.

However, its worth remembering that NOW TV doesn’t offer the same premium features as Sky Q and if you want the very best experience this is still the ultimate way to view Sky’s content especially if you want access to 4K.
