White-glove service for Maseratis at red-carpet event

Transporting 40 Maserati Quattroportes from Italy to a global economic forum in Papua New Guinea takes two chartered Boeing 747-8 freighters.

The standard limousine wasn’t good enough to chauffeur government officials and corporate executives for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum this month in Papua New Guinea.

Usher in the Maserati Quattroporte. Forty of them.

Kuwait-based Agility Logistics chartered two Boeing 747-8 freighters with tilt nose cones, operated by Russian airline AirBridgeCargo, to fly the luxury vehicles from Milan, about 8,500 miles to the event.

The Quattroportes were jacketed in protective covers as part of the white-glove treatment.
