BT Broadband Customers Can Get Netflix And Sky TV For Just £6 

From today until April 14, BT is offering new and existing broadband customers the chance to add a Netflix subscription, NOW Entertainment Membership, and a BT TV set-top box capable of recording 600-hours of television, streaming in 4K Ultra HD quality, and pausing and rewinding live broadcasts for just £6 a month. Yes, really. The limited-time offer will save customers £264 compared to the usual £17 a month price tag.

Even if you’re only interested in watching shows on Netflix, this deal is worth it. Following its recent price tag, the basic Netflix subscription tier now costs £6.99 a month alone. So you’ll be saving £23.76 over the course of the 24-month contract compared to buying your subscription direct from Netflix.

BT’s flagship broadband plan is called Halo 3+ and is the only broadband plan available in the UK right now that claims to be “unbreakable”. So, how does it work? BT Halo 3+ customers receive the same Wi-Fi router as those who sign-up for any of the deals above, but BT will add an extra gadget, known as the Hybrid Connect device. This includes a SIM card from EE – exactly like the one found inside your smartphone – that connects to the mobile network’s 4G signal as a back-up in case your broadband goes offline. So, the moment there is any disruption to your broadband signal, the Hybrid Connect with ditch the fibre-optic cable and revert to EE’s signal instead.

You won’t even notice this has happened, BT handles it all in the background. As far as you’re concerned, your device is still connected to your home Wi-Fi network and you’re able to connect to the internet, stream music, use smart home gadgets like an Amazon Echo, and more.
