Several of the most famous royal residences belong to the Crown Estate, such as Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. But the Royal Family has a staggering private property portfolio too, with homes belonging to the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne scattered across the country.
Sandringham House
The Queen’s beloved Sandringham House is located in Norfolk, and it is the backdrop of the Royal Family’s Christmases. Every festive season, royals like Prince Charles and Prince William will visit the Queen at Sandringham and attend a church nearby on Christmas Day. Queen Victoria’s eldest son, the future King Edward VII, lived at Sandringham in the 1800s, and the home has since become a royal favourite.
